It's been a while since we (ex-citibankers) all meet up. But thanks to Liz's chalet, it gave us an opportunity to gather. As usual, alot of gossiping, updating, teasing, joking, etc... Infact, we were more of friends than colleagues, which is rather 難得. Maybe it's becoz we've been thru "think and thin" while working at Citibank, so this is how our bond developed.Once in while we will organise a BBQ gathering. The last one we had was in March this year... Comprised all the ex-citibankers cum 2 current citibankers, Eileen & Morris. We purposely take a group photo (with date) so that Eileen can stick it at her desk for our ex-boss to see... *Lol*
Frankly speaking, it's not easy to find a true and sincere friend, especially with all the office politics going on and with hypocrites who appeared to be nice on the surface but backstab the moment you turn around. Working in such an environment is very tiring. Everyday got to put on a mask and mind your own business. Sianz...
Seriously, working in Citibank has been the most wonderful experience so far, at least it gave me a chance to know all these friends. Unfortunately, 天下沒有不散之宴席... all of us got to move on but i'm still thankful to Citibank for that....
Alright, back to the chalet.
Me, Ken, Han Chong, Eileen and Melvin were the last few to leave becoz we were playing mahjong! *haha* We finished the game around 2plus to 3am ba.... Me and Ken lost $0.30!!! Waste time right??? *Pengz*
Wah lao, play with Han Chong and Melvin very stress coz their movement very fast and no 2nd chance given if you forgot to 扑花... Nb... Ken and me gana once each.. 小相公 (dunno what is the correct "xiang" and "gong" so just anyhow put la, as long as the meaning is there). The most gek xim part was, during our 小相公, our tiles were very nice lorz!! Can do 青一色 kind leh... *pui*
I always say Han Chong is a 老千... and guess what, he won the most that night. KNS...
Now i know his pattern liaoz... 六親不認 *Lol* Next time i'll win back my $0.30 and MORE! 加油!!!
