Post-Dated Entries... (Part 1)

Finally, i have time to update my blog. So stop complaining!

Frankly speaking, I've lots to update but because the events happened so long ago, i kind of forgot the "feel" already. Therefore, I'll update the most recent activities.

Hmmm... let's see... My Birthday and Lunar New Year entries? Think these 2 are the most recent liao.

My Birthday

Basically nothing special. Haha! Merely took leave and went out with Ken.
All i can remember was, we went to Party World at International Building (besides Lido).
You know ah, their TVs are all LCD lor! Not sure if else where are the same but Party World at Singtel, confirm don't have. Anyway, the place is new plus i went during weekdays, hence not many people, clean and quiet.

After that, we went to Clarke Quay. Wanted to try out Clinic but Ken was not feeling too well, so we gave up the idea. In the end, we just loiter around and took some photos before going back.

That rounds off my birthday celebration with Ken. *heehee*

Oh, as for my friends, they have made my birthday a special one too. My secondary buddies celebrated with me at Lian's house. It was supposed to be a BBQ at Eebon's house but 天不做美 (correct?) plus not many people can make it, hence it somehow affected my mood and also partly because of pre-birthday syndrome la! Celebrating myself getting older?!? Arghh...

Anyway Eebon, dawn, Lilian and Jade still went ahead to meet up at Lian's house despite me saying many MANY times "I'm not going out!". After i took a nap and woke up at around 7pm, i finally made my way there. We kicked off with mahjong. Ken joined us at 10plus. After that, i still have a small slice of cake plus present! It was past midnight and we decided not to carry on with 2nd round of mahjong, but stay to chit-chat and play with their Nintendo DS instead. So tempted to buy. *Haha*

As for my polymates, we met up and have dinner at Marina Square Cafe Cartel. Too bad Xiao Mao couldn't made it. The 3 of us were sitting outside (smoking area) and suddenly this uncle walked past and sat beside the next table. Don't know he's mentally unstable or what, but he was actually talking to us!

Uncle: Wah, seldom see 3 girls eating alone outside leh. Usually will have guys by the side one hor.

Us: Ignore...

*3 ang mo walked past and he shouted for them*

Uncle: You see this 3 girls, eating alone. Nowadays where got girls eat alone one.

Us: Ignore again!

Uncle: You know hor, girls cannot eat carrot one. Wait your hair will turn red like the carrot.

Us: .......

What the &*%$%#!!! Freak us out man! Luckily, after a while, the uncle left. *phew*

Anyway Ken and Alex (Sharon's husband) joined us shortly after we finished our dinner and we proceed to Instinct, a ktv pub near Bugis. Left after a jar of beer. Haha! No choice, next day got to work...

Lastly, meeting with Eileen and Clam. Met at Marina Square too. Shop for a while and had our dinner at 店小二. Food not bad, environment abit noisy la. After that hor, we continued shopping. *Wahaha*

Belle left earlier to meet Heng Heng. Me and eileen carry on with our shopping while waiting for Ken and after that, took a cab home.

Just want to thank everyone who celebrated my birthday with me. Thank you!

MuMmY's BiRthDaY

Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to you...
Happy Birthday to Mummy...
Happy Birthday to YOU!!

We had a 温馨 dinner at this very old looking, and damn retro restaurant along Bendemeer road. It's actually located under the HDB flat. In the past, i used to pass by this restaurant when i took bus 133. Always thinking to myself, this restaurant looks so old, got customers meh?!?

But to my surprise, it can be quite crowded during weekends.

The first time i went there was to celebrate Ken's auntie's birthday. The moment i stepped in, i was like "whao, so 60s!". The interior design was really REALLY very retro. Guess what, they are the first restaurant to have Yu Sheng but of cause we didn't ordered that la. We had a set meal for 8-10 persons though. Their dishes are not bad, especially their crispy chicken and yam ring, very yummy. The best thing is, the prices are reasonable too! No GST and service charge.

Hence, during my mum's birthday, i brought her there too. Let her have a feel of the 60s restaurant. *Hahaha*

Unfortunately, that day it was kind of crowded and the waiter/ waitress didn't really bother to entertain me when i stepped into the restaurant. Worse thing is, I've booked a table for 4! Before me, there was this stupid, irritating, horrible, ass couple. There was a table right infront of the entrance and the waitress was asking them to sit there BUT this stupid, irritating, horribe ass couple actually said "No! we don't want to sit at the entrance" and proceeded to another table inside BY THEMSELVES!

Because of their stupid, unreasonable, irritating action, we end up sitting at the table at the entrance! Nabei~ I reserved table one lor!! Si bei fed up ah... keep staring at the ASS couple!
Wanted to make a super big fuss but because it's my mum's birthday, i shall not make things too ugly.

Anyway, my conclusion of this restaurant is... GO DURING WEEKDAYS, when it's not so crowded. As i said, the food are good and prices are reasonable, so it's still worth eating there.

Here's a picture of my bill....

By the way, it's was $102.20 because my dad drank 2 bottles of Carlsberg lor! Cannot drink beer there, abit ex la!

My New Monitor!

Nice? I bought this from the PC show =)

ChaT BoX!

Yippee! I've added a chat box in my blog! Hopefully there'll be more interaction because I've never seen anyone leaving me any comments except for my friend, Clone.

I wonder other than Clone, who else is reading my blog. Myself???

Anyway i stole this chatbox idea from my WEB buddy - Eileen! *grin* She's gonna scold me for copying her idea! But, CARE! *Hahahaha* I doubt I'll see much comments in there anyway. It's more for 摆美 purpose... Just like my "Pinky".

If you are one of those reading my blog, leave me some comments in the chatbox can? It's gonna be very embarassing if it remains empty for the next 1 week, u know? Ok, maybe i shouldn't give myself too high hope. As said, maybe there's only 1 or 2 friends reading it... *poor me*

Well, its close to 2am now and I've no idea why I'm blogging at this time. Infact my eyes are damn damn tired. Both Ken and YoGee are sleeping like nobody's business. Oh, and my mum too! *yawnzzzzz*

Alright, let me finish up on today's activities.

1stly, I'm very suay this morning. Fell asleep on the bus while on the way to work. Suddenly, the stupid bus jerked so hard that i knocked my head against the window. Gosh, it was SO LOUD that everyone was looking at me! No choice, close my eyes and sleep again. So paiseh lor...

2ndly, when i was about to alight from the bus, my wallet dropped onto the floor. So while getting up from my seat, my leg slipped and glide against the metal plate (don't know why there's this big metal plate underneath my seat) and created ANOTHER LOUD SOUND! *damn* I was given the strange look from everyone once again. Kaoz...

I was so pissed with myself, for being so bloody blur this morning. Must be the side effects of taking too many medicines for the past few days. Haha!

Lastly ah, i worked till 9pm today. SO SIAN! Have no choice but to rush the work out as FINCON wants it to be ready on Mon. Luckily Ken is waiting for me downstair, at least it helps to brighten up a little. Otherwise, I'll feel so sad and demoralized to head home alone.

Yah, that's about all for today. I hope tomorrow would be a BETTER day for me. =)

Planning to go Science Center tomorrow *heehee* If you've not gone there since Pri/ Sec school days, you might want to consider re-visiting it. It's very fun and interesting though! I went there last year but didn't managed to see everything cause they close at 6pm. Erm, we reached there at around 2-3pm ba...

Anyway, now they have this iFuture thingy, so shall take this chance to revisit again. *Hee*

Oh, and tomorrow night got to meet up with my good buddies to celebrate Lian's birthday. Another gathering... another gossip session... *wink*

Good night! I'm falling a..s...l...e...e..p...

LiFe SuX fOr Me...

Guess what, I've stomach flu again. The pain lasted for a few weeks before i decided to see a doctor. That's because the pain was getting more frequent and unbearable. Can hardly sleep at night.

Finally went to see my doctor yesterday, gave me 3 types of medicine and a day's mc. But after taking 3 dosages of his medicine, there's no improvement at all. Not even a bit! So this morning, i went back to him. The first sentence that came out from my mouth was "Your medicines were not effective at all!". Then he nodded his head and said "Hmm... then it's not gastric but stomach flu". *PENGZ* Before i went to see him, i already suspected it was stomach flu because I've past experiences on this. Didn't expect him to diagnose it as pure gastric. In the end, he gave me more medicines and another day's mc.

When i said more, it's really more. For one particular medicine, I've to take 6 tabs for 1st dose. 6 leh! *faint*
I even asked in shocked "6?!?" and the nurse calmly said "ya, 6 and it's compulsory", then she went on to highlight the sentence for me to see. Thanks ah~

Best, now i've 5 different medicines to take. *yucks*

I can't imagine the amount of work I've to finished when i returned to work on Wed. I predict i'll have to work till 9 plus. Stress, stress, STRESS! I think that's the return of getting better salary. Yah, it's only slightly better ok! For HR portion, it's already alot for me to handle. Not to mention FINCON (financial control). I wonder how many emails are waiting to be cleared in my mailbox.

Last time taking 1 or 2 days leave/mc will not affect much of my work cause I'll be able to finished them promptly. But now, it's a headache cause there's really alot to do. *sad* Even normal days, i'll have to work till 7 plus or close to 8pm. I know it's considered early BUT last time, i can always leave on the dot with all tasks completed... 想当年啊...

My PC iS aLiVe aGaIn!!!

Yeah!!! I finally have my PC fixed. I can now enjoy the luxury of surfing net, blogging, downloading songs *Oopps* , checking friendster and MSN at my home sweet home!

Now the only thing is my old data. I've yet to send it for recovery cause no extra $ for that now. Bought a new harddisk for $88 and send for fixing and installation for $60. God aka Guan Yin Ma, please allow me to recover all my data. If not, most also can. I can't imagine losing them... No! No! NO!

Spent the whole day fixing up my PC today. Of cause without the help of my buddy, i can't possibly have everything set-up and ready to use by afternoon. Thanks a lot Jade! Anyway when it comes to IT thingy, I'll always look for her. She's good at these... *heehee* Unlike me, ultimate technology idiot!

Alright, got to turn in now. Tomorrow got to work (-_-) Will update again...
