KuSu Trip 2007

Went Kusu last Sat with my mum, Ken, Vincent & Pauline. It's a yearly routine for my family. Vincent & Pauline went with us last year (before they broke up) and joined us again this year (after they patched back).

Seriously, there isn't much changes. So every year when i brought my camera there, i always ended up taking the same old thing. Haha!

Why are these tortoises stacking on top of one another?!?

P/S: Clam, I read your blog and saw the photo Heng Heng took. So 巧 right! Both wore black too! Haha~

YoGee & Lucky

On Sunday, I held a mahjong session at my house. Pauline brought her dog along, named Lucky. This is not the 1st time these 2 dogs met each other. Somehow, they don't seems to get along well. Although Lucky is smaller in size but Lucky is already 4 yrs old, while my GeeGee is only 2 yrs old. So the small size Lucky actually bullied GeeGee... chased him here and there! Poor thing~

It took almost half a day for these 2 dogs to calm down. Here's some pics taken while they're on the calm side:

So, this is not purchased out of Toto or 4D winnings (although i've been praying hard to strike them) but merely a combined contributions from all of us to make this happened!

P4 Gathering!

The last time i met up with my buddies (aka P4 members) was when Sharon just returned from States. Oh my, almost a year ago?!? Anyway, we had our reunion last night - finally.

We met at Plaza Sing and went for dinner at Ajisen. We ordered 1 set (i.e ramen + 1 side dish + cold green tea) and 1 additional bowl of ramen to be shared among Toot, Sharon and myself. Why? Because we are all on budget! *haha* Also, we are small eaters *cough* so can't really finish one bowl of ramen each. As for Mao, she managed to finish almost a bowl of ramen herself. *clap clap* Good also la, she's way TOO SKINNY... like a walking skeleton! If you're reading my blog, pls hor, eat more! As for me, I got to eat LESS! Hahaha!

After our dinner, we settled down at Rocky Master. There, we began our gossip, chit-chat and photo-taking sessions. It was really fun. All sorts of nonsense, vulgarities accompanied by our loud laughter filled up the whole Rocky Master (well, there wasn't alot of customers anyway~).

Introducing....

The P4s!!!

I'm looking forward to our next gathering... =)

Back track a little...

Went K Box at Marina Square with Ken, Vincent & Pauline last Saturday. Yes, Vincent and Pauline have patched back about a month ago but.... seems quite rocky these few days. I'm not going to elaborate. Hope things will turn out fine eventually.

So, with their patching back, we resumed our past activities like bowling, crabbing, prawning, gaming, ktv-ing, etc.... Not that without them I can't go ahead with these activities, I can, but not as fun lah. You know, couple date thingy...

UnlUcky foLks...

How unlucky... Parked your cars, returned home and woke up the next morning to found your car in a wreckage. =(

This is exactly what happened to those folks that parked at the carpark behind my block, right below my unit. *gosh*

1 culprit, 3 victims & 2 lucky cars!

The Merc is in the worst state.

Culprit is a Suzuki Swift!
(imagine how fast he/she drove that caused such impact)

If the carpark infront of my block is full, I'll usually park at the back. These few lots are my favourite cause I'll be able to see my car from my window. Luckily i came back late last night and these lots are all taken up. *phew*

I've got myself a new camera. Main shareholder is of cause *drum roll* Ken! I'm just a mini shareholder. Haha! Nowadays who still use 3.2 mega pixels, with a small small display screen that one can hardly see anything!?! Though, mine may not be the best, but at least it's better than my existing one right... =) I reckoned i can use it for many many years! *keep my fingers crossed* Wahaha!

Tadah! Sweet pink... I like!

CarvivoR 2007

Took part in this year's Carvivor challenge organised by Sky Tower & Power 98.

Gathered at Yishun Safra early in the morning last Sunday, around 7am. This year, there's 150 teams, each team consists of 4 members. That means, a total of 600 people fighting for the $10,000 cash!

We have to drive to a total of 5 checkpoints located all around Singapore and complete the challenge at each checkpoint. The challenges are rather simple but some are quite tedious. Also, it depends abit on luck. The main objective is to complete all the challenges within the shortest time. The team with the shortest average time taken to complete all 5 challenges will walk away with the $10,000 cash! Travelling time is not included though.

Our route (we'll only get to know where's our next destination after we completed the challenge at each checkpoint):

Sim Ming Autohub >> West Coast Park >> Sentosa Sky Tower >> Pasir Ris Park >> Choa Chu Kang Stadium, then finally back to Yishun Safra.

Feeling all sweaty and exhausted, we explored the whole safra and waited till 4.15pm for the prize giving ceremony. Other than the goodie bag, no other consolution prize for the participating teams. Obviously, we did not won the cash la *humph* but it was really fun. Enjoyed myself very much. If there's a chance, I'll defnitely participate again next year. =)

Here's some photos taken that day:

No MoOd...

Went for a 2D1N Batam trip with Ken few weeks ago, followed by our visit to Chinese Garden and lastly, Mambo night @ Zouk last night.

I seems to have lost the interest to blog. Don't feel like typing, don't feel like uploading any photos. Practically don't feel like doing anything.

Maybe i should just close down my site......

HapPy bIrtHdaY aH LAo!

How long have i not address Jade as "Ah Lao"? Hmmm... I think it has been quite some time.
During secondary school days, I'll call her "ah Lao" and she'll call me "爱妃". She even has 大姨太,二姨太... and don't know how many more 姨太 la. Being her 爱妃 differentiate me from all those 姨太s. Wahaha!

Now we've all aged but occasionally I'll still address her as "ah lao". =)

Last sat, all of us gathered at my house for Jade's birthday. As usual, mahjong session!

Lilian, Raymond and HJ came over at 11+. Without Jade noticing, i went to the kitchen to prepare her birthday cake. It was so funny. I went out holding the cake with lighted candles, but the fan is too strong, hence blew off the candles before we can sing the birthday song! So I went back to the kitchen to light up the candles again. Luckily, she's watching TV with her back facing the kitchen. So embarrassing right! 2nd time was a success. She was so surprise... *grin*

Here's the photos we took that day:

Star of the day!

Granny BirThdAy + DumPliNg FeAsT!

Went back Malaysia with Papa, Mama and Nan Nan 2 weeks ago.

No car, cannot drive. So we took a Malaysia cab from 小波(is this the right "bo"?) all the way to the gate of my Granny's house. It's only S$50! Traffic and weather quite ok la... if only the cab was playing English instead of Malay song. *heehee*

My Granny is going for knee operation, so we went in to celebrate her birthday in advance.

Dinner was at Grand Straits Garden. In the afternoon, both me and Nan got nothing much to do, so we went to the nearby mall to kill time. Did manicure there, just removing and painting new colour, it's only RM19! Cheap bo...

Anyway this Grand Straits Garden Restoran is very near to the causeway lor! I sure have no problem getting there. Haha! It has nice environment and ambience, plus lotsa of live seafoods... Luckily we've reserved a VIP room, or else, how to spend private time (as a whole family la) together!

Australian King Crab! Look at the "Gong"!

Dunno what crab la, but it's huge too!

See this "hump", half the size of Ken's palm!

An overview of their seafood!

An overview of the Restoran!

Of cause i took pictures of my lovely Granny but don't think it' nice to post it here! *heehee* Private and Confidential!

Dad went back to S'pore after the dinner. Only left Mama, Nan Nan and Me.

On Sunday, the house was crowded once again. This time, was to 包肉粽! Yummy! I love my Granny's 肉粽. I helped to 包 too! *grin* Took a while to master how to wrap it up and make it look like a 肉粽. Lol~

That's not all lor, still have another big pot. Imagine how many we they have to 包!

My products! =)

Too bad, i can't bring these back to S'pore. Got pork leh... hai~
Only brought back whatever my stomach could accomodate i.e on-the-way-to-be-digested products! =(

Went back with Nan Nan only. Mama is scheduled to stay for 2 weeks, to look after my Granny. 表姐 sent us to City Square there. We walked awhile then took bus 170 back.

How i wish both of us can stay longer. Take a short break to relax and at the same time, can eat more 肉粽... wahahaha!
