PosT-DateD EntRieS... (PaRt 2)

Now for part 2....

LuNar NeW YeaR

As usual, we went back Malaysia to 拜年. It's our yearly routine. The only difference this year was, we've a new family member. I've officially upgraded to 表姨 since last year. If you do recall, I've an entry about my cousin's wedding and TADAH, here's her little boy....

So cute right!

I secretly asked her "Is it fun to be a wife cum mum?" and she replied "Not fun at all".

*Gasp*

Maybe she's not used to such lifestyle? Moreover, she's still young.... As her 表姐, of cause i'll want her to be always 快乐 and 幸福 la...

The next happening event is the fireworks. Although it's "banned" in Malaysia but alot of people can still get it illegally. So during chinese new year, you'll still get to hear alot of 炮声, one house follow by another. Very 热闹, unlike Singapore. The fireworks are comparable to what you see during National Day, in terms of the pattern la. Imagine, seeing fireworks right before your eyes.... How nice right! In the past, it's just some simple rocket, light up, shoot and "pop" but now, though it's illegal, but it seems like they've upgraded their products.

The fireworks are not cheap though. I heard it cost about RM$400 to RM$800 per box, depending on the quality. Think my uncle bought quite a few lor....

These are the normal ones

88 Shots Cake means it will "shoot" 88 times!

See how ordinary looking these boxes are?!?

Here are some random photos i took throughout my stay....

My uncle's German Shepherd, only 1 yrs old but it's huge!

Organised a buffet session on 初二

Yummy!

Besides his normal business, my uncle has recently ventured into another business... Dragon Fruit! Looks like next time, i'll get to eat lot's of them... *heehee* I heard these fruits are very rich in nutrients or vitamins, especially the red ones. I think he has both... *grin*

His Dragon Fruit plantation

Still growing....

By next year, should have some 收获 already.
