- She got married earlier than me.... Unexpected...
- Her husband is older than me BUT he still got to call me 表姐... *Wahahaha*
- She would have less time for me when i go Malaysia...
- Most importantly, she might not be free to bring me for KTV next time... Cause her priority now is her husband and her new family... =(
Nevertheless, i'm still very happy for her despite the above 4 points... It's fate & destiny that brought her real happiness. My most sincere and warmest blessing to my 表妹 and 表妹夫!
Oh, for ur info, all my relatives (mother's side) are Malaysians. This explains why i go Malaysia so often... Not there to grab cheap stuff (actually not very cheap too!) or pump petrol but to visit my dearest Granny and relatives. In the past, my 表妹 and her present husband would bring Ken and me to JB for KTV sessions and shopping... 嗨... now that she has upgraded to "Mrs", will i still be able to enjoy the entitlements? Or i would have to rot in my Granny's home instead...?? Arghh!Okok, i shouldn't be complaining since i've mentioned earlier that i'm happy for her right? Yupz, i shall shut my mouth and share some photos taken during her wedding instead...
1st dress for the night (Stupid waitress... Extra!)
2nd dress for the night... Yupz, they are having 交杯酒 ( i hope i didn't input the wrong chinese character)
The usual & traditional "Thanks for coming" practices in most weddings!
Heehee, how could i miss out taking photo with this beautiful bride!

By the way, the dinner started at 7pm (fully sitted) and end off at 9pm. Damn early right? For us... Most of the time, you will see ur guests strolling in at 7pm (earliest timing), 3quarter occupied at 8.15pm, 1st dish served at 8.30pm and dinner ends off at 10.30++pm! I guess this is what we meant by different culture.
On the contrary, it could also be due to environmental factors.... Long travelling distance, poor road conditions and limited roadlamps! Maybe these are the contributing factors that results in a 7-9pm wedding dinner in Malaysia too.

For us, how long can we take to travel from Paris Ris to Boon Lay? Public transports are so convenient, our roads are smooth and well-lit, not to mention all the CTE, AYE, TPE, SLE, KJE, and whatever E that help us to reduce so So much travelling time.... Because of the convenience we are getting, can it justify that we can afford to have a 8.30 - 10.30pm wedding dinner?? Hmm... I guess partially 吧! What's the actual reason then, you ask? Well.. look at this scenerio:
Guest A: Dear, got to get going. Her wedding dinner starts at 7pm.
Guest B: No need to leave so early la. From Boon Lay to town, very fast one. Go early also nothing to do.
Guest A: Yah hor! Anyway sure got people late one. We go later then no need to wait so long!

Familiar?? Yupz... the actual reason is the genes and characteristics... we are the Typical Singaporeans 嗎! *opppsss.. No offence ok?*
